If the slave control board of the OLT cannot be registered, check the following points:

1. Check the time from the time when the board is powered on to the time when the board completes registration and the time when the standby control board is started is within the time when the standby control board is started. Exclude this cause.

2. Check whether the slave MPU is properly inserted. Therefore, the fault is not rectified.

3. Run the following command in the user view to display alarm all. Check the alarm indicating that the startup software package of the slave MPU is inconsistent with that of the master MPU. Contact Huawei technical support engineers to upgrade the system software of the slave MPU to be consistent with that of the master MPU. The fault is rectified. The slave MPU can be registered.
