Dear All,

I have 2 switch S5735-L24P4SA1, distance between them is > 1km and I want to stack them

Do this switch support long distance stacking?

Thank you so much!!

For some models, the maximum distance is specified, for others it is not.
There is, for example, such a statement

10GE SFP+ optical module and optical fiber (a maximum transmission distance of 0.4 km)

Hi friend!
Since the maximum supported length of optical fibers and optical cables is 10 meters, when the distance between the two switches is greater than 10 meters, use network cables for stacking. However, it is not recommended that you perform such long-distance stacking, because it is prone to problems, which will cause stacking failure, failure to start the service, or packet loss. You can use the stacking tool to stack.
