Stacking two CE12804S switches

Good afternoon gentlemen and ladies,

I am new to Huawei switches and been having a play around on the CE12804S in my test environment. I have two switches, lets call them the top switch and bottom switch. I have been trying to stack the two switches together. Each switch consists of the following cards:

Slots 5 and 6 each have a CE-MPUA-S card.
Slot 2 has a CE-L06LQ-EC
Slot 1 has a CE-L24LQ-EC1

Configuring the actual switch I am fine with, but my issues and questions are with physically connecting the switches and they are as follows:

1.  What type of cables does one use and which ports do I use to stack the switches? I have tried stacking the switches with high speed QSFP cables between the 40GE interfaces on the cards on slot 1. No stack is formed. Each switch is a master switch. I also tried stacking the switches via the two GE electrical ports on the CE-MPUA-S card, using normal ethernet cables.

Again the switches did not stack.

2. Since connecting the switches
via the two GE electrical ports on the CE-MPUA-S card, using normal ethernet cables, it seems that bottom switch (which had it's own IP address), has had its config replaced with the config from the top switch. It's as if the bottom switch has morphed into the top switch too. And I can no longer SSH onto the top switch, as it instantly logs me off with PUTTY error of:

But I can connect to the switches via a console cable, so all is not lost.

It will be most appreciated if any one who can point me in the right direction please.

Many thanks.

for CE12800, we have 2 stack mode.
1. linecard mode;---only connect the linecard.
2. mainboard mode;---connect the linecard and mainboard together.

for linecard conection, QSFP cable is ok.

in Huawei product documentation, it has typical stack configuring examples, you just need to follow it step by step.
