Hello. am having a hard time enabling stacking for two s5720-ie switches. I have placed the stack modules with two ports each at the back of the switches. I've tried changing the priorities as well as the slot numbers for one of the switches but when I type 'display stack', I only see the id and mac-address of only one of the devices. I have tried different manuals but they have not been of much help.  I guess its probably the model.  please help. I need to know what am missing. Thanks in advance

I think iStack hadn't been established. Make sure ports in stack modules are UP.

Also, if you want to change priority or slot number, you should reboot device after changing, or the modification will not take effect.

thank you for that. I restarted both devices after I changed the priorities and slot number, but the stack led indicator on the switch is blinking green, doesn't that mean the stack modules are UP ? other wise how can  I get them UP ?

After you use 40G fibre module or high-speed cable connect two devices, can you see one of the device is rebooting? Also check the port light in stack module.

Use "display device" to see the stack status.
