hello

i need a switch that supports 1000 vlans spanning tree support.which switch would be suitable for me?

and i also need a price list of switches

Hi, 

basically if you want to have 1000 instances, you need to do it on PVST+. In case you just need to different instances for different VLAN and some VLAN can share the same instance, MSTP should be good for you. We can support 64 instances in 1U switches.

Hi,


Can you please share MSTP configuration tips / best practices for s5700 series switches.

Basically the switch is terminating 5 access rings in which 2 access rings are also connected mutually.
