【Problem description】
Some of the handsets are not showing the location on the eDC Client.
【Problem analysis】
1. According to the analysis of the eAPP log, the three terminals provided did not report the GIS location to the eAPP server on 8.7-8.8. Need to check the terminal log.
2. According to the analysis of the terminal log, we found that the terminal receive satellite number was 0, meaning no GPS signal.
【Root cause】
No GPS signal, so unable to report the GIS information.
【Solution description】
The cause of the location update failure of the handset on the eDC is that the handset does not receive the GPS signal and cannot report the latest location to the eAPP. Ensure that the location information can be updated on the eDC only when the handset is in the area with the GPS signal.
