Hello all,

We have an project for self consumption ( zero feed in). Where we have 5 litle plants conected to different point and transformer stations inside the cliend manigacturing. On evry plant we have inverters and and smartlogger3000.

All SmartLoggers will be in an optical ring.

The measuring point is on Middle voltage where the grid operator is connected. And will be connected to one of the smartloggers which will be the Master one.

All others will be configured as slaves.

The question is will the dynamic power limit work in that configuration ?

And is there something special in the configuration ?

Thank you.

Hello, dear.

You can do this but in a fiber optic ring network. The maximum communication distance of SmartLogger does not exceed 10KM (with the 1000M optical module) or 12 km (with the 100M optical module).

For related information and setting steps, you can refer to the user manual: https://support.huawei.com/enterprise/en/doc/EDOC1100108365/9f02bcde/networking

You can set up master and slave stations, but a power-limited grid connection is not supported. It is recommended that you independently limit the power and connect to the grid.

The inverter and SmartLogger are connected to the power grid in different places. Therefore, it is recommended that you connect each SmartLogger to the power grid independently at zero feed in

and Power-limited grid-tied devices do not support master/slave control.

All SmartLoggers will be in an optical ring.it easy to set for every smartlogger at one place @A.Angelov
