Hello,

I am using a Smartlogger 3000A connected to 7 inverters 60ktl.

The grid operator would like to adjust remotely the power of the inverterT by sending a 4-20mA signal to the smartlogger 3000A.

After reading the documentation, I think it's possible but not sure of the configuration steps to implement this.

Did you have a document explaining how to configure the power adjustment with a 4-20mA signal from the grid operator?

If signal is less than 17mA, it needs to cut off production. (Optionally, if signal is between 17 & 20 mA, we can reduce the production but not mandatory)

Thanks for your help.

Hello, Eoxs.
I checked the user manual of smartlogger 3000A and it shows that only the AI interface supports 4-20mA signal input, but the AI port is used to receive the environmental monitor. And the access signal transmission distance does not exceed 10 meters. I will ask the relevant engineers if there is a way to achieve this.

Thanks.

Hello,

I found the solution.

I'm using a small part of the DRM fuction to reduce the production to zero.

DRM

Just need to connect the 4-20mA grid operator signal to AI2 or AI3 or AI4 (AI1 only 0-10v, not 4-20mA!)

Under Settings => DRM, choose the connection port (AI2, AI3 or AI4) and configure the startup current range regarding the signal of your grid operator.

DRM1

In my case it was 17mA.

If the signal is upper 17mA, production is 100%

If signal is under 17mA, production is reduce to zero !.

The idea now is asking Huawei to have the possiblility to reduce the power smoothly regarding the value of the grid operator.

For exemple:

17mA: production at 75%

14mA: production at 50%

10mA: production at 25%

under 7mA production 0%

Today with the DRM fuction and only 4-20mA signal, we canno't reduce smoothly the production without using DI inputs.
