Hello.

I have a question about Modbus TCP/IP interface for SmartLogger 2000: How can I read voltage and current PV parameters from inverter through SmartLogger? I browsed manual and finded 25 registers we can read, but where we can read PV parameters? Thank you. Best regards.

Hello, klima.

Please refer to the following information:

Connection Description

The SmartLogger can be connected to the SUN2000 through an RS485 communications cable
or AC power cable. Communication modes for the SUN2000 with MBUS (PLC) and those
without MBUS (PLC) are different. Select an appropriate communication mode based on the
actual situation.

For models with the MBUS (PLC) function, you can select either the MBUS (PLC) or RS485
communications mode. For models without the MBUS (PLC) function, you can select only
the RS485 communications mode.

For the 1000 V SUN2000, the RS485 and MBUS (PLC) communication modes are mutually exclusive.

  • If the RS485 communications mode is selected, do not connect an AC power cable to the MBUS
(PLC) power input port of the SmartLogger.

  • If MBUS (PLC) is used, do not connect an RS485 communications cable.

For information about RS485 interface, you can refer to the following link: https://support.huawei.com/enterprise/en/doc/EDOC1100014379?idPath=22892350|21439560|7921563|21102414|21294677 (Article 4.5 in the article)

When you use the RS485 cable to connect the inverter to smartlogger2000, you can view the PV information in the WEB interface.

Thanks

@BetterMing We have MBus. RS485 not connected. We can see on smartlogger web link (IP web page) PV data, but I can't find register number for this data.

@wissal Link setting - unlimited.
