Hello all,

I have one installation where i have to shutdown and startup the inverters thru dry contact command from an motorized circuit breaker.

When setup DI1 when is open to make shutdown all is ok. The circuit breaker open the dry contact and all inverters stop producing.

But the setup for DI2 when is open to start up the inverters does not work. It triggers the alarm but the inverters keep the shutdown state. And i have to start them manual. I have tried to change the places of DI1 and DI2 , or to use DI3 but no luck.

Please advice me how to set them so one DI to stop the inverters and other DI to start them.'

PS.

I just checked what happens when the two options are enabled on one DI. When the alarm trigger the invertors are going off, and when the alarm clears they go back on. And this is almost ok for me , but if i can make to use two DI for me it will be better.

Thank you.

Posted by A.Angelov at 2020-04-10 06:00 Hello,Yes in these chapters 7.10.6/7 is shown how to make remote shut down and set up DI port to Shu ...

How Do I Use DI Ports?

The SmartLogger provides four DI ports, which support dry contact remote control, dry

contact remote shutdown, and associated alarm input.

Notice:

Before setting the corresponding function, ensure that the DI port is not set for other purposes.

Otherwise, the setting will fail.

When a valid level is delivered into a DI port, an alarm is raised. You can set the alarm name

and severity.

Step 1 Log in as Special User, choose Settings > DI, and associate alarms with DI ports.

Activation Status: If this parameter is set to Activated for a DI port, you can set the function of the DI port.

Otherwise, you cannot set the function of the DI port.

Dry Contact Status: Specifies the valid input status of a DI port.

Alarm Generation: Specifies whether to allow alarm generation.

Alarm Severity: Specifies the alarm severity.

Trigger Shutdown: Specifies whether to deliver an inverter remote shutdown command.

Alarm Name: Specifies the alarm name.

----End

Hello,

Yes in these chapters 7.10.6/7 is shown how to make remote shut down and set up DI port to Shutdown and Startup. But when i use one DI for shutdown and another DI for Startup it does not work.
Or i have to make both DI with shutdown and startup enabled ?

Hello, A.Angelov.
If you have followed the settings in the manual but did not reach the goal. You can contact your local Huawei representative office for technical support. Check if there are other factors that cause the setting to fail.

Hello,
I have made many tests, and if figures out that i have problem only with the start up.
When i try to make one DI to only start up the system it does not work. If i make it to shutdown and start up it is working,
May be there is no working solution one DI only for startup.
