【Problem description】
Unable to configure 2 IP phone lines – Registering.

Activated Patch = SPH105
Have checked the configurations and have religiously replicated the 2 already working, but the unit 189 second phone line is still in registering – auto block mode.
Have performed troubleshooting on PBX and when tested, the Assigned extension registers to an X-Lite setup.
Cannot configure a second phone line for a unit, as it stays in registering. Please see the screenshot below:

【Problem analysis】
Asked the customer for the logs and packets capture.
Telnet to ONT via LAN1 port, then executed the following commands one by one.

2. Executed the command to make the capture. Opened Wireshark on the PC and started the capture.

3. Executed the command to trigger the second user to register again.

4. Stopped the capture and the log.

【Root cause】
Unable to configure 2 ip phone lines - Registering
【Solution description】
Analyze the packet capture logs and notice that IMSresponded ‘484 Address Incomplete’ for the Register request from the 2nd user. But the Registering of the 1st user is OK.
Check the REGISTER message from ONT for both users and they are the same format. So, you will need the IMS side to check why it responded with the 484 error code for the 2nd user.
