Hi everyone,

Maybe for you it will be beginner question or just stupid, but I want to understand.

On the roof we have solar plant. My idea is to turn on smart plugs if the plant is generating more than x W.

Is it possible?

Thanks for any help.

Hello, dear.
What is smart socket? Is it a meter?

This should be a relatively simple logic and can be satisfied.

 Hello, @s_jo

What do you mean by "smart plugs"? What exactly should they do for your PV system, are you talking about the Smart Power Sensors (power meters)?

Also, for API function, you need to send an email to eu_inverter_support@huawei.com with the serial number of your inverter and we will create for you an API user, also relevant documents will be provided to you. i_f03.gif

Hello,

I have similiar question. I want to integrate hvac system with solar inverter. Is it possible, that in future sun2000 will have digital output controlled by instant power or amount of sending to grid energy?

In Fronius inverters, there is four digital output, which can be connect to relay and control any device. Conditions to activate output can be set by web user interface.
i.e. if active power > 5 kW turn on output 1
or
generating more than 3 kW to grid turn on output 2 (need smart meter of course)

In Huawei i found only digital inputs, no outputs. Is it possible add this function only by software update? For some reasons I prefer to install Sun2000 rather than Fronius.

I know I can achieve this by using Modbus or using FusionSolar api but such solution needs additionally control device and is dependend on external system, which cause is less reliable.
