Hello, I get the error "Slot 0 can not support this command" when I enter the poe management command on the recently purchased S57XX switches.


The Switch model I got the error on; HUAWEI S5735-L24P4X-A

Version : (S5735 V200R019C10SPC500)


Other switches where the command works;

S5700-28P-PWR-LI-AC


I cannot open and close the poe ports as I want on the new switches.


When I enter the poe power-managment manual command, it gives the above error.


What could I be missing? Or how to manage poe ports in new switches and turn them on and off.

Thank you for your answer. So how do I manage poe ports from console? I was opening and closing the poe port as I wanted. Can't I do this anymore?

The S5735-L24P4X-A does not support the configuration of the power supply management mode.
To enable PoE on an interface, run the poe enable command in the interface view.
To disable the power supply of an interface, run the undo poe enable command in the interface view.
