We are network engineer, and we run networks but during work mistakes do happen sometime it's due to bad infrastructure, wrong configuration, hardware failure or etc.
Let's recall one of our silly mistake which we did and laughed later on it.
I'll start with sharing mine and invite you to share yours.
It was 2015, during a Cutover of new set Gb router (From NE40E-X3 to new NE40E-X8), different RNCs needed to shift. I did configuration of another city's RNC on that router and asking peer department to review their status, luckily it was secondary plane so no outage. But still I laugh when I recall this event.
