Do you want to power off the IVS3800?

To safely reboot the IVS3800XS38 V5, IVS3800XF36 V5, IVS3800XC V5, and IVS3800XCB V5 servers, perform the following steps：

  1. Log in to the iBMC WebUI of the server.

  2. Choose Information > Overview. In the Virtual Buttons area, click Power Off.

    iBMC

  3. In the confirmation dialog box that is displayed, click Yes. In the Basic Info area, if the Power Status indicator is gray, the server is powered off successfully.

no need disable the service like Plugin Target recognition ?

Why do you power off the IVS3800? As far as I know, services may fail to start after being powered off.

Power Off procedure will terminate all services before the system shutdown,
But Force Power Off will directly shutdown without closing services, so it will be some possibility for data corruption.

Prerequisites

After a device is powered off, all services and programs are terminated. Therefore, ensure that all services and programs have been stopped or migrated to other devices before the power-off.

Data

Save all data before the power-off.
Confirm the No. of the cabinet where the device to be powered off is located and specific location of the device.
Obtain the IP address, user name, and password of the iBMC management port.
