Thank you, my friend! If you need device documents, you need to upgrade the account permission. For details about the account permission upgrade, click: https://forum.huawei.com/enterprise/en/how-do-we-upgrade-our-account/thread/652629-875

thanks @Chenxintao for the link and procedure, unfortunately I tried that already but my application was rejected because the product is registered to "Carrier BG", but I purchased this product from my ISP directly so I was not allowed to access the documentation unfortunately.

Hi, friend! Because this is an enterprise community. Therefore, I cannot directly obtain documents for you. However, you can visit the carrier product documentation. If you still cannot access the product documentation, you can only obtain documents from the ISP. sorry @E.DR_91 , I'm not sure where I shoud "click", it seems your suggestion is for some kind of web gui of some other product, not for MA5671A SFP Module, it doesn't have a web interface and it definitely doesn't have a wifi module. Thanks anyway. |

Hello @Chenxintao , thanks for your reply! The only authentication I need to configure to authenticate with the OLT is the Ploam Password, but I don't know how to configure that on the MA5671A, is it something that can be done via a specific command on SSH? Because I can access to the MA5671A via ssh but I can't find the correct command to issue to change the ploam password. Is there any way to do it? I'm using a media converter to connect to the SFP via ssh. thanks! |

Hello @Chenxintao and thanks for your reply! I tried your command but it seems it's not supported by the MA5671A SFP, this is the output: root@192.168.1.10's password: Welcome Visiting Huawei Home Gateway Copyright by Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. # display ont info 0 0 Do not support the command. # I'm connecting to the SFP module directly using a media converter and I need to change the PLOAM Password configured on the module and I know the correct one to set, can you help? thanks

Hi, friend! You need to run this command on the OLT to query the authentication mode. You cannot directly query the authentication mode of the device through SSH login. You can obtain the device authentication mode from the ISP because the OLT uses the last 10 bytes of the LOID as the password of the PLOAM when performing LOID authentication based on the PLOAM. Therefore, you need to confirm the authentication mode of the device first. |
