Hello, everyone!

I have a question. When I configure the service type for the M202E board of the OSN902, the 100GE option is unavailable.

Does this board not support 100GE services?

Can someone explain?

hi,
the board supports 100G , and has 2 scenarios for working acording to DWDM side setting

1- When the board works in 200G_16QAM or 200G_e16QAM or 200G_16QAM-H mode on the WDM side, each of optical ports C1 to C4 can receive 10GE/100GE services.
2- When the board works in 100G_QPSK or 100G_wDCM_QPSK mode on the WDM side, each of optical ports C1 to C4 can receive 10GE services, and either optical port C1 or C3 can receive 100GE services.

in the 2nd scenario the 100G will work in either optical port C1 or C3 only , that means , you will not have 100G choice in port C2,C4 .
- also if you have not installed the 100G- CFP in the ports , that may stop the 100G choice to appear in the list .

Thank you very much. I know the cause of the problem. I did not install a 100GE optical module. Now, the problem is solved.

Hello,
M202E board of the OSN902 support 100GE services

The M202E board is a 2 x 10G/100G/200G programmable wavelength conversion board that implements mutual conversion between 10GE/100GE signals and OTU4/OTUC2 signals. This board supports extended C-band and LLDP features.

Dear friend!
As Malik3000 said, when the service type of the inserted optical module is Ethernet service, the service type is automatically applied and configured. If the service type of the inserted optical module is other services, you need to manually configure the service type.
Therefore, the port working mode of the board is auto-sensing and is read based on the optical module. As long as a 100GE optical module is installed, the port working mode of the board can be selected.

Thank you!
