System-level Service Migration
Application-level migration: Data at the application layer is migrated from old systems to new systems using special application-layer migration tools, ensuring availabilities and performing the OS and database upgrade during the migration. For example, the online migration of Oracle and SQL server databases.
File-level migration: Based on customers' requirements, customers' resource load is migrated in files from the source host to the target host, and therefore customers can plan the disk specifications again, or upgrade the OSs.
System-level migration: This migration mainly applies to the system disk migration. If a large number of applications are running on a customer's host, system on the host, including the OS, applications, and configuration data, can be migrated to the destination VM.
