Secretary telephone "leaks" boss' phone to incoming caller

When caller A is transfered from Secretary's phone B to boss' telephone C (which has CLIR activated), C's telephone can see C's number which is not desirable. With softargu 496 I can control this happenning before or after the semi-consult, but sooner or later A gets to see C's number. CLIR only works if C calls directly to A.000131j1ez22f4r3734awt.png?image.png

It is only valid when calling directly to each other. Please refer to the following information.

The following assumes that the intra-office user 5000 is the calling party and the intra-office user 6000 and external user 05712856XXXX are called parties.


Scenario

Prerequisites

Operation

Outgoing Call

Intra-Office Call

The CLIR rights have been configured.

Dial the called number as normal.

User 5000 dials 05712856XXXX.

The calling number may be displayed to the called party.

User 5000 dials 6000. The calling number is not displayed to the called party.

  1. The CLIR rights have been configured.
  2. Software parameter 496 has been enabled.
  3. The calling number display prefix has been configured.

Dial the called number as normal.

User 5000 dials 05712856XXXX. The calling number is not displayed to the called party.

User 5000 dials 6000. The calling number is displayed to the called party.

Dial the calling number display prefix before the called number.

User 5000 dials ##05712856XXXX. The calling number is displayed to the called party.

User 5000 dials ##6000. The calling number is displayed to the called party.


2. About the secretary service


If you want to understand if the BOSS C phone is known by A, you can use the secretarial service. The secretarial service is presented to the secretary number, and will not display any phone information of BOSS C.
