I want to share a case about NE settings.
Problem Description
When a customer configures SDH services for 1832, the following error message is displayed: 'the service capacity exceeds the license limit. Error Code: 43888'.

Handling Procedure
1. Error code analysis:
According to the error prompt, you can know that the current SDH service capacity has exceeded the limit capacity of the license.
2. Check the license status.
Double-click the NE icon to enter the NE panel, right-click subrack, and select 'Modify Shelf Attribute' (On the NE Panel, right-click a slave subrack and choose Modify ShelfAttribute from the shortcut menu). View the service type, and we can know that the current subrack is set to 'None', indicating that no license information is configured for the device and no service can be configured.

3. Modify the service type.
In step 2, select a device based on the device plan on the live network. 'SDH+OTN(License value left 18)', after the application is complete, the service is configured successfully.
Root Cause
The service type of the subrack is not configured. As a result, the license is not delivered to the equipment side.
Solution
Select a license based on the device plan.
