The customer wants to relocate the node SDH from level 3 to level 21. The security building not allow a working at midnight and public holiday. Thus, the migration has to be done in a working day and a service affecting is not posibble to be allowed.

Let say the service sink/source is between BETA-DELTA. The service at Charlie, Beta, Alpha and Echo are secured with the MS-RING.

Day-1
- Install the new SDH at the level 21. The board configuration is similar with the old SDH.
- Install the Line Board SL64 onto the old SDH and connect the fiber to between SL64 old SDH and New SDH
- Configure NEID on the new SDH and upload it into the NMS U2000.

Day-2
- Request a new Client Device port at Beta and Delta.
- Connect the new Client Device port at the Tributary board
- Create a logical fiber and create a new cross connect as diagram below (temporary line service)

Day-3
- Activate the temporary line service and deactivate the existing service.
- "Swing the fiber from the old SDH to the New SDH as diagram below.

Day-4
- Modify the existing cross-connect as diagram below.
- Verify the modified cross-connect service.

Day-5
- Activate the modified-existing line service, and deactivate & delete the temporary line service.
- Disconnect the SL64 Old SDH - New SDH
- Swing the fiber from the Old SDH to New SDH as diagram below.

Day-6
- Observe 24hrs performance.
