Hi Mady,

there are 2 options: Manually switching as below:
Run the RST SYS command to Reset Core A.
Check core B after the Loss of Connection alarm is generated in the eOMC.
Check the master/slave state of core A after it is connected to the eOMC.

Note: Core B switches to the slave-to-master state.
Upon the expiry of Slave-to-master State Timer, core B switches to the master state.
Core A switches to the slave state.

Or the second option:
Automatic switching triggered by creating a fault:
Power off (not recommend, power off suddenly can result in equipment damage, operate it prudently).

Power off core A.
Check core B after the Loss of Connection alarm is generated in the eOMC.

Note: Core B switches to the slave-to-master state.
Upon the expiry of Slave-to-master State Timer, core B switches to the master state.

Also please be informed that the service will be interrupted for 1 minute. i don;t know if there is another option without down time.

The eSCN230 also supports manual active/standby switchover. The active eSCN230 is forcibly reset. eSCN230 it takes more than one hour to manually perform an active/standby switchover.
