Note: it is necessary that both devices work at the same speed. For example, if one side supports 25GE and the other 10GE, for them to establish connection correctly it is recommended that the connection be made in 10GE.

Huawei has a tool that I particularly like a lot , Stack & SVF Assistant. With this tool you can inform which switches will be used in the stack, optical module model, cable type, and equipment version. After informing, the tool informs you the recommendations, restrictions, and configurations so that this Stack can be done correctly.

Why you want to use 25GB stacking ports as you have 4 * 40/100 ports ?
