S5700LI loopback-detection

Hi everyone!

I have a little question about loopback-detection on an S5700LI-10P switch. I decided to give it a try...

Here is what I did:
1: I enabled loopback-detection globally by issuing loopback-detect in system-view.
2: Then; I connected a cable from port 4 to port 5.
3: A broadcast storm happens after a few seconds. The switch does not stop it.

When I plug the cable in, it shows a Huawei-MAC Address in its MAC-table. After 10 seconds it flips the port on which the mac resides and then the storm occurs.

Am I wrong about loopback detection? Shouldn't loopback-detection break it up?

All ports are located in VLAN1.

Firmware is: V200R007 SPC005

An update: It worked as expected after a reboot.
