Dear, can anyone help to let me know the slot capacity of RTN980L, CSHLU, V1R19? How many maximum ODUs consumption per sub-rack?

Service Ports

The OptiX RTN 980L provides the ports that converge SDH services and Ethernet services on the system control, switching, and timing board, and it is able to provide a wide assortment of service ports by configuring proper service interface boards.

Table 1 lists the types and number of service ports that the system control, switching, and timing board supports for the OptiX RTN 980L

  • c: Channelized STM-1 ports (c-STM-1) support the channelization of STM-1 into 63 E1 channels. The E1 channels support CES and ML-PPP.

  • d: If an EG4P board powers an RTN 980L through PoE, carefully plan the power consumption within the allowed range. For details, contact Huawei.

In a 10G LongHaul solution, the typical configuration is: 2×CSHLU + 4×ISM6 + 8×ODU + 2×PIU + 1×FAN.
