Procedure for configuring the L2 DCN solution.
1. Change NE IDs. Select the NE and on Function Tree -> NE attribute -> Modify ID (NE ID must be unique within the network that is managed by NMS) Extended ID by default is 9
2. Set NE communication parameters. Function Tree -> Communication -> Communication Parameters
3. Configure DCCs. Function Tree -> Communication -> DCC Management -> DCC Rate Configuration(L2 DCN can be enabled for either the inbound DCN channel or outbound DCN channel of a microwave link. DCC must be disabled over the microwave port, so that the inbound DCN channel with higher bandwidth can be used)
4. Disable access control at NE ports. Function Tree -> Communication -> DCN Management -> Access Control set Disabled
5. Enable inband DCN on ports. Function Tree -> Communication -> DCN Management -> Port Settings
Network management information can be transmitted over inbound DCN only after the inbound DCN function is enabled on the ports at the both ends of a link. To prevent impact on base station, it is recommended that you set 'Enable Status' to "Disabled' for ports connected to base station.
Then select the Protocol Type on the other ports L2DCN
