Dear friend!
Today, I'd like to share with you a little knowledge: How to prevent router interface intermittent down.
Customer side router /switch interface connect with transmission LDX card, from switch side found lot of interfaces up/down log even interface up /down happen at same seconds.
From the transmission side found a lot of error code, so from u2000 need configure the WDM OTN SM parameter to specify the error condition to trigger the SNCP switch.
REMARK: this parameter is not a fixed value, need test with router side check if propper.
| DEG Monitoring Time | 1 to 10
| The DEG Monitoring Time parameter indicates the number of detection period. The OTUk_DEG alarm is reported when the number of DEG errors continuously exceeds the threshold during the period specified by DEG Monitoring Time in every DEG Detection Time Window(ms). Set this parameter according to the actual requirements and the requirements on the quality of the received signals. The requirement on the signal QoS varies inversely with the value of this parameter. This parameter is valid only when the BIP8 Detection Mode parameter is set to Bursty. |
DEG Detection Time Window (ms) | 10, 100, 1000 Default: 1000 | Specifies the unit of DEG detection period for detecting DEG alarms. When SD quick switching of protection is required, set DEG Detection Time Window (ms) to 10 ms. Users do not need to manually configure DEG Monitoring Time because the NE software can automatically configure DEG Monitoring Time to 2. Most of the boards support fast SD protection switching except
the following boards: TN11LDMD, TN11LDMS, TN11LEM24, TN11LOG, TN11LOM,
TN11LSXR, TN11LWX2, TN11TMX, TN12LDM, TN12LQMD, TN12LQMS, TN12LSX, TN12LWXS,
TN13LQM, TN52TOG, TN53TSXL, TN54NPO2, TN11BMD4,
TN11LEX4, TN11LSQ, TN11LSQR, TN12LSXL, TN12LSXLR, TN52NS3, TN52TDX,
TN52TQX boards. NOTE: The TN52NS2, TN52ND2 or TN52NQ2 board supports fast SD
protection switching only for ODU2 signals. |
Thanks!
