Dear friend!

Huawei modem needs to be used with DSLAM and network management. The version must match the model. If the wrong version is used, the modem will not work.

Huawei modem firmware involves network security and will not be released randomly.

If you need to download firmware/software, we suggest that the best way is to contact the operator or sales channel to obtain the correct modem firmware/software.

The product you have provided information about belongs to the carrier series. Please contact your local carrier or product sales agent to obtain the correct software.

The ONT is used together with the OLT at the central site. The version must match the model. If the version is incorrect, it cannot work.

Once you've gotten the firmware, perform the upgrade or downgrade under the supervision of professional personnel.

Otherwise, the fault cannot be rectified. Be careful when performing this operation.

The DG8045 is a carrier product. The forum is oriented to enterprise products. 


The version of the ONT firmware to be downloaded must match the model. If an incorrect version is used, the ONT does not take effect. 


To download the firmware or software, contact the carrier or sales channel to obtain the correct ONT firmware.

If the product is provided by a carrier, you can only ask the carrier to solve the problem. If you don't have any updates, you can request to reinstall the existing software. If your product is not provided by your carrier, contact your device provider.
