Router BGP Security Inspection

Hello everyone,

Today I will share with you the BGP security inspection.

Purpose

Verify the function of BGP security is enabled.

Procedure

1. Login to the PE router;

2.  Run the command “display bgp peer 1.1.1.1 verbose” to show BGP security is enabled.

Expected Results

1.     Display the BGP security is enabled.

<Huawei>display bgp peer 1.1.1.1   verbose

 

           BGP Peer is 1.1.1.1,  remote AS   65001

           Type: IBGP link

           BGP version 4, Remote router ID 1.1.1.1

           Update-group ID: 3

           BGP current state: Established, Up for 6d02h25m34s

           BGP current event: KATimerExpired

           BGP last state: OpenConfirm

           BGP Peer Up count: 6

           Received total routes: 0

           Received active routes total: 0

           Advertised total routes: 0

           Address family VPNv4 Unicast: advertised and received
