Hello, friends!

Downlink RF resources are unavailable, what can I do to get it back to work?

Thank you all!

Hello friend!

Possible Causes

RF-related software configuration or hardware resource faults cause cell unavailability.

The CPRI link is abnormal, the RF unit is abnormal, the version of the RF unit does not match the version of the main control board, the CPRI line rate negotiation is abnormal, or the RF topology does not match the configuration.

Handling Process

1. Check whether alarms related to the RF unit or RF unit maintenance link are generated.

If a fault alarm is generated, handle it according to the product documentation or tell me the alarm type.

2. For 3900 and 5900 series base stations, run the DSP BRD, DSP RRU, or DSP BRDVER command to check whether RF resources are normal.

For the BTS3202E, run the DSP Bru and DSP BRDVER commands to check whether the RF resource items are normal.

If the RF resource item is abnormal, rectify the fault according to the MML command output.

If the fault persists, contact Huawei technical support engineers to locate the fault.

Hope it helps you!
