Hi team!
Here’s a case that retry fails after online upgrade of UltraPath fails in Windows.
[Symptom]
The system environment does not meet upgrade conditions. Therefore, an online upgrade fails. Then, the user retries. The UltraPath installation wizard displays a message indicating that copying files failed and implements a rollback. The retry fails.

The message is "Copy files failed! Please retry or Uninstall the old version and retry."
[Fault Diagnosis]
1. UltraPath V100R008C00 has been installed (installation package: UltraPath-8.01.024.exe). A user attempts to perform an online upgrade. However, the upgrade fails and a rollback is implemented because the system environment does not meet requirements. Messages are displayed, as shown in the following figures:

The message is "Non-disruptive upgrade failed due to internal errors."
Figure1 Message indicating that the rollback succeeded

The upgrade fails and UltraPath is rolled back to the source version. The message is "Rollback to the earlier version succeeded. Perform upgrade again later."

[Solution]
If you want to perform an online or offline upgrade:
After the message indicating that copying files failed is displayed, check the system environment to ensure that upgrade conditions are met. Then, perform an online or offline upgrade.
If you want to uninstall UltraPath:
After the message indicating that copying files failed is displayed, directly uninstall UltraPath.
[Workaround]
Perform an offline upgrade as follows: Uninstall V100R008C00 and then install the target version.
Before performing an online upgrade, ensure that the system environment (CPU usage, free memory capacity, system disk space, no degraded or faulty paths, and not in single-controller connection status) meets requirements. Then, perform an online upgrade.
