Hi, dear!
Good day to you!
This topic describes how to restore the data.
Data Restoring Measures
In order to restore the RAID group, the status of the 2 HDDs must be switched from faulty to normal. The faulty information inside the two slots should be cleared first so that the RAID card can continue to read and write disk data.
The specific operation steps are as follows (perform steps 1-4 to recover one HDD, and repeat steps 1-4 to recover another HDD).
Turn off VCN500-R and after confirming that the power is down, pull out all data disks and leave one faulty HDD inserted (HDD slot number needs to be recorded, as slot sequence cannot be disrupted).
When there is only one faulty HDD inserted, turn the power on and log in VCN via SSH server to clear the records of faulty HDD status by executing the command: cli cfgclear.
Turn off VCN500-R. After confirming that the power is down, plug in all data disks except the faulty one and leave the faulty HDD unplugged.
Make sure the faulty HDD is unplugged, turn the power on and log in VCN server via SSH. Then plug in one faulty HDD and confirm its status is normal by executing the command: cli vdinfolist.
Follow the previous steps to recover the other faulty HDD and confirm that the status is normal.
Manually restore RAID group, command: cli rgresume id=0.
After confirming that the RAID group status has been switched to normal, remove one faulty HDD, and replace it with a new HDD.
