Hi, Fomia

There are three ways to restore factory settings.

1.Through the web NMS.

(1).Choose Maintenance > System Maintenance > System and click the Initialization tab, as shown in the following figure.

1

(2). Click Initialization.

(3). Click OK in the dialog box that is displayed.

2. Through the CLI.

(1). In the user view, run reset factory-configuration.

The switch is reset and restored to factory default settings.

(2). In the user view, run display factory-configuration reset-result.

The result of the latest factory default restoration of the switch is displayed.

2. Through the button.

If you press and hold the PNP button for more than 6s, the device restores the default settings and restarts automatically.

Only the S1720GFR、S1720GW-E、S1720GF、S1720GWR-E and S1720X-E support this operation.

Hello,
Restore factory settings of the S1700 using either of the following methods:
1. Hold down the Reset button.
When you hold down the Reset button for more than 5s, the switch restarts and restores the factory settings.
(If you forget the changed management IP address or password of a switch, you can hold down the Reset button to restore factory settings of the switch.)
2. Restore the factory settings through the web.
a. Choose System Management > Reset Factory.
b. Click Reset Factory.
c. Click Apply.
Thanks
