The topic describes how to restart the U19.

• Restarting the U1900 series gateway by running the reboot command.

  You can restart the system by running the reboot command in the following conditions:

  On the LMT, follow the steps below to restart the system:

  • For rectifying a system fault.

  • For making the restored data take effect.
    

1. Log in to the LMT and open the command tree. 
   

2. Choose System Management > Operator Management and click Reboot.
   

3. Click Execute to restart the system.
   

Restarting the U1900 series gateway using the web management system.

1. Log in to the web management system. 

2. Choose System Configuration > Device Management.

3. Click Reboot next to System Reboot.

4. Click OK to restart the U1900 series gateway.

Restarting the U1900 series gateway by power cycling.

If the system fault is severe, you can restart the system by power cycling (that is, powering it off and re-powering it on).

Verify that the POWER indicator on the board panel is on.

1. Turn the power switch on the back panel of the U1900 series gateway shelf to the OFF position.

2. Ensure that the power cable is connected properly to the mains supply socket. Then, provide alternating current (AC) power or direct current (DC) power for the U1900 series gateway.

3. Turn the power switch on the back panel of the U1900 series gateway shelf to the ON position.

Restarting the U1900 series gateway by restarting all of the main control board.
