Resetting the BootROM password on the NE20e-s8a router

Hello!

I would like to reset the BootROM password for the NE20e-s8a router. The default passwordWWW @HUAWEI (or any other password I found in the default password tool) does not work. Probably my colleagues changed this password, but nobody remembers.

Is there such a possibility? Alternatively, can the router be reset to the factory settings using the button on the router?

Try to upgrade device. After device is upgraded, the password for the BootROM menu remains.

Hi Maciej,
There is a command for resetting the BootROM on the AR router, but I am not sure whether the same or similar commands exist on the NE router, you can try it.
[Huawei] diagnose
[Huawei-diagnose] restore boot-password
Info: Restore boot password success!

unfortunately there is no restore command at diagnose view on NE20e router.
