This post is about the issue that resetting HS8545M is not working. Please see more details below.


Huawei HS8545M


ISSUE DESCRIPTION


HS8545M is not resetting to the default configuration; instead, it's restoring to a different configuration. I am looking for the original firmware for this device.


Please assist me in solving this issue of resetting HS8545M is not working. Thanks!

I want to update my EchoLife HS8545M GPON softwares but I can't find it

Currently the version of my router is V3R017C10S105

Hi,

Use either of the following methods to restore factory settings for an ONT:

  • Choose System Tools > Restore Default Configuration from the main menu on the web page and click Default.

  • Hold down the RESET button for a long period of time (longer than 10s) to restart the ONT with factory settings.
