Reset Super Admin user for OceanStor 2600 V3

1.       Methods of resetting the password:

a.       Connect your PC to the serial port of the Storage device with a serial cable

Start a Windows HyperTerminal or any other tools which can support serial connection,
the properties of the serial connection is as below: 

 

 

b.       

NOTE:

The login user name is _super_admin. When the CLI register to input the password Admin@revive, enter the Enter.

The

mirrobeijing_01: _super_admin>

is displayed.

c.       On the CLI, enter initpasswd.

The

Please input the user(Attention:Master level):

is displayed.

d.      On the CLI, enter username.

NOTE:

username is the Admin user name that is to be initialized.

The

Init the passwd of master success.

Do you want to init another user(Attention:Master level).Cotinue(Y/y),exit(N/n)

is displayed.

e.      On the CLI, enter N. The resetting a password is complete.

The new password of Admin is Admin@storage.

Keep in mind though, that in Linux-like OS's the username is case sensitive, so instead of typing "Admin", do type "admin :)"
