Have issue with router NE40E-M2K-B and cannot access it via Console anymore? If you input the password and display that is wrong please do the following:
1. Upload to FTP another NE configuration file (config_file.zip) for which you know the console password.

2. After you have an FTP server set up, please go to NE device in <1> Ethernet submenu

7. <3> Change password.
8. <4> CFcard Format Submenu.
9. <5> Set boot file and path.

13. <U> Upper Menu..
3. Please select “Modify Ethernet interface boot parameters”.

And input the IP of the FTP server and the username and password to loign to the FTP server. Please make sure the IP of the NE to be in the same network segment.
4. Please upload the configuration from the FTP server to the NE.
5. Then try again to rename the startup file like you did before, but this time please insert the name of the file transferred from FTP for which you’ve set up the console password.
