Hi,

We have forget all password of an AP8030DN(V200R010C00SPCf02) in FAT mode. The device seems not have a bootload menu like switch or router. How can we reset the console password for it?

Hello,

You can reset the console password through Uboot.

# Restart the AP.

# Press F within 3 seconds when the following information is displayed to enter the Uboot CLI view:

Press f or F to stop Auto-Boot in 3 seconds: 3

Password for uboot cmd line : //Enter the Uboot password.

ar7240>

# Restore the default account and password of the AP.

ar7240> defaultuser

Start setting whether to Change Password.....

Current Bootup Change PW is N

Do you Want To Change The Default password, Y or N :Y
