Symptom
In the stack scenario, a camera is connected to an NVR. When a user deletes the camera, a message is displayed, indicating that server response times out.
Possible Causes
- The network between the NVR and the IVS platform is disconnected.
- The SCU is abnormal.
Solution
1. Run the ping command to check the network connection between the NVR and the IVS platform.- If the network is abnormal, locate and rectify the network fault and check whether the fault is rectified.
If the fault is rectified, no further action is required. If the fault persists, go to 2.
- If the network is properly connected, go to the next step.
- Log in to the OMU portal of the NVR server where the camera is located.
- Choose System Management > Business operation and management.
- Click Restart corresponding to the SCU.
- Log in to the IVS C/S client and choose Devices. Then go to the next step.
