Hi there!

This time, I will share with you about required for IP OSPF of the ASON network.

Issue :

Cannot apply IP address OSPF on this NE OSN 9800

( below picture )

Solution :

This error code indicate that device not support this type IP address The specific restrict rules show as below:

1.if submask is 255.255.255.0

Can not set：

192.168.0.x to 192.168.7.x

192.169.0.x to 192.169.7.x

192.170.0.x to 192.170.7.x

2. if submask is 255.255.0.0

Can not set：

192.168.x.y

192.169.x.y

192.170.x.y

3. if submask is 255.0.0.0

Can not set：

192.x.y.z
