1.Remove controller A, as shown in the following figure:
2.Insert the controller back to its slot, as shown in the following figure.
?Confirming the Status of Controller A
After inserting controller A, wait for 5 to 10 minutes. If the indicators on the controller board are steady on, run showcontroller to check the status of the controller.
If the state of controller A is not Normal, contact Huawei 400 hotline before proceeding.
?Checking Consistency Between the Versions of Controllers A and B
Run howupgradepkginfo -t 1 to check the versions of both controllers.
?Switching Back LUNs to Controller A
This section uses controller A as an example. If LUNs of controller B trespassed, switch back the LUNs back to controller B.
-> Switch the LUNs that trespassed in the previous sections back to controller A.
Switchback command: chglun -lun [LUN ID] -c a
-> After the switchback, run showlun -lun [LUN ID] to check whether all LUNs have been switched back to controller A.
?Button Cell Structure
A button cell has information inscribed on it. The smooth surface is the positive pole, and the radian side is the negative pole, as shown in the following figure:
The button cell socket is as follows:
?Precautions
-> Wear ESD gloves. Do not touch the controller board, components on the board, or the button cell without wearing ESD gloves.
-> DO NOT twist the negative reed with your hand.
-> Obliquely insert and remove the button cell from the opening.
-> The negative reed is critical. Never deform it beyond its bending scope. Otherwise, the button cell cannot contact the board properly.
?Removing a Button Cell from a Controller
-> Place the controller on a smooth table and open the top cover, as shown below:
-> Locate the button cell.
-> Use your index finger and thumb to pinch the button cell and rotate it anti-clockwise toward the opening by 15 degrees. Make sure that you are rotating rather than pushing or dragging. Because the button cells a limited space, you can rotate the cell such that its smooth side is aligned with the slope of the socket.
-> Remove the cell diagonally from the opening.
?Installing a New Button Cell
-> Put the button cell close to the opening of the socket with its negative pole pointing to the negative reed.
-> Insert the cell against the negative reed. Use slight force in a way that the smooth side of the cell touches the inner wall of the socket.
-> Use one finger to slowly push the cell into the socket. With a slight impact sound, the cell slides into the socket.
-> After inserting the cell, check whether the negative reed is in close contact with the cell.
