Hello Forum friends, in this article, we will explain how to replace a failed inverter on FusionSolar with another functioning inverter.
Prerequisites
After the faulty inverter is removed, the new inverter is installed, commissioned, and connected to the router/4G Internet, you can perform the following steps to replace the inverter. You must have the installer account permission during the replacement.
Steps
1. Log in to the SmartPVMS.
2. Select the plant where the faulty device needs to be replaced.
3. Choose Device Management.
4. Select the failed device and select the Replace Device option.
5. Enter the SN of the inverter and press Replace.
Note
1. Only inverters of the same type can be replaced.
2. You need to add a new inverter before the operation takes effect.
