Replace the SN of the Faulty ONT on MA5800

Hi there.

Some time ago, the MA5626 is faulty. 

The faulty MA5626 registers with port 0/3/0 of the OLT (MA5800).

After the fault occurs, the system prompts you to change the SN registered by the ONU on the OLT. 

This means that the SN of the faulty ONU needs to be replaced with the SN of the new ONU on the OLT.

Please help me with how to do it.

Hi friend.


You could run the ont modify command to modify ONU sn. 

This command is used to modify the ONT configuration data. When the ONT cannot be online in the normal state because the ONT configuration data such as authentication mode, SN, and password is different from the actual ONT configurations, you can run this command to modify such ONT configuration data to ensure that they are consistent with the actual ONT configurations.
