Replace a DCU board

Hi User,

Prerequisites

You must be an NM user with NE and network operator authority or higher.
The type and position of the board to be replaced must be confirmed.

Impact on System

If the board is not configured with protection, the signals are degraded when you replace the board.

Tools, Equipment, and Materials

Shielding bag and U2000

Procedure

Select the spare part. Select the spare board that has the same parameters as the board to be replaced.
Query and record the current alarms of the board.
Query the protection configuration of the network.
Contact the onsite maintenance personnel to remove the board.
Check whether the board works normally. Query the alarms of the board and check whether the previous alarms are cleared.
