Remote PhoneBook on eSpace 7830 and 7850 IP phones (XML FILE)

Hello,


For eSpace 7830 and 7850 IP phones, we want to use a remote PhoneBook that points to an XML file (see screen below).

So I need an example or the syntax of the code of that XML file because I can't find it in the internet or on Huawei website for this specific model.

The remote address book template is delivered with the software version and is in the compressed package of the software version. You can download it from http://enterprise.huawei.com/en/support/

Hello

The screenshots that you shared are being audited, in the meantime I will share a guide for setting the parameters related to the remote phone book on the IP phone's web page:

a. Log in to the IP phone's web page.

b. Click the Contacts tab, and click Remote PhoneBook. Set Phone Book Url and Phone Book Name, as shown in the Figure.

c. The Phone Book Url parameter indicates the URL for downloading the file, for example,http://192.169.1.21:80/Menu.xml. The Phone Book Name parameter indicates the name to be displayed on the IP phone's LCD. You can set Phone Book Name to any value, for example, Company.

A total of five remote phone books are supported by eSpace 7870, 7850, 7830 and 7820.

I still can't find an example of the XML file, there is no example on huawei website as you mentioned rongjie.

What is your phone version? The template of the .xml file is released with the corresponding software version. Do you find the software package of the corresponding version?

You can edit XML files by referring to the following example.

This example describes the menu.xml file. (The menu.xml file is generally the first XML file that we access.)
