Hi, everyone.

After the router is restarted, the interface is down due to the remote fault alarm. Why? After the optical module is replaced, the fault is rectified. After the optical module is replaced, no alarm is generated. What is the cause?

Remote fault: Generally, this alarm is generated because the peer end receives incorrect information from the local end, for example, excessive bit errors or frame loss.
It is recommended that you ask the cooperation partner to test the fiber jumper before using it.
