Release Notice for Huawei Certification HCIE-Storage V2.0 (English Version)
HCIE-Storage V2.0 (English Version) is officially released on July 15, 2019 worldwide.
1. Overview
Huawei Certification follows the "platform + AI+ ecosystem" development strategy, which is a new collaborative architecture of ICT infrastructure based on "Cloud-Pipe-Terminal". Huawei has set up a complete certification system consisting of three categories: ICT infrastructure certification, Platform and Service certification, ICT vertical certification, and grants Huawei Certification the only all-range technical certification in the industry.
Huawei offers three levels of certification: Huawei Certified ICT Associate (HCIA), Huawei Certified ICT Professional (HCIP), and Huawei Certified ICT Expert (HCIE).
Huawei Certification covers all ICT fields, which is in line with the trend of ICT convergence. With its leading talent development system and certification standards, Huawei is committed to developing new ICT professionals in the digital era and building a healthy ICT talent ecosystem.
HCIE-Storage V2.0 certification aims to cultivate storage professional talents with plan, design and practice capabilities.
HCIE-Storage V2.0 curriculum mainly includes: Converged and cloud series storage system, storage backup solution, storage disaster and recovery solution, storage active-active solution, data migration solution, etc. Compared with HCIE-Storage V1.5, the knowledge of cloud storage system has been added to HCIE-Storage V2.0, while the knowledge of converged storage system and storage solutions have been optimized.
With HCIE-Storage V2.0 certification, you have deep understood the solution and application technologies of storage, which is including demand analysis, solution plan and design, deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting.
With engineers who has obtained HCIE-Storage certified, the enterprises has the qualification to use storage technologies to plan, design, deploy and maintain a network, and it also has the ability to meet various customer’s requirements in multiple scenarios.

5. Exam Description
The HCIE-Storage V2.0 certification exam will be launched at Pearson VUE on July 15, 2019, The Pearson VUE website link is: http://www.pearsonvue.com/, and the exam code is H13-629，which will remain unchanged.
The HCIE-Storage V1.5 certification exam will go offline on Jan 15, 2020. Candidates who are enrolled in the HCIE-Storage V1.5 certification exam must complete the appointment and exam by Jan 14, 2020 (including Jan 14). The candidates are required to do a good job in learning, training and exam planning in advance.
