Relationship Between the Actions Defined in Security Policy and Profile

Hi,

I would like to know what is the relationship between the actions defined in a security policy and a profile?

Do you guys have any suggestions?

Thanks.

The NGFW executes a profile only if the action defined in the security policy is permit and the profile is referenced in the policy. If the traffic matches the profile, the NGFW performs the action defined in the profile. If the action is Block, the NGFW blocks the traffic. If the action is Alert, the NGFW permits the traffic but logs the traffic transfer.
