Hello user!

Handling Process
VRRP is a protocol designed for error tolerance. It virtualizes a group of routers on a same broadcast domain into a virtual router. This group is called a backup group. All routers in the VRRP backup groups are accessible through only one virtual IP address. In the dual-system hot backup feature, VRRP is a measure to detect faults on interfaces and links. You can combine the IP-link function with VRRP when a remote link (a link not connected to the VRRP backup group) is required to be monitored.

HRP is Huawei private protocol used for the real-time information backup between the active and standby devices. The information to be backed up are the configuration commands and status information. This synchronization ensures that service traffic can be smoothly switched to the standby device when the active device is faulty.
